Sagrada Madre was born in late 2017 in Argentina, when two brothers had the idea of producing innovative incense, with natural elements of the highest quality and the conscientious use of ecological products while maintaining sustainability of resources and fair trade at all levels.
Very soon, it became a business that occupied the entire family and friends.
Sagrada Madre now employs more than 120 families, of which many are the sole providers for their homes.
In their products they use plant based binders and vegetal charcoal giving the incense its irregular form. All their natural palo santo wood is from fallen branches - Thanks to its light scent, Palo Santo can be enjoyed by everyone, even by those who do not particularly favour incense.

Fair trade at all levels, from product suppliers, wages, and generating good business opportunities for all, has been one of Sagrada Madre’s goals.
SUPPORTING THE LOCAL ECONOMY
Most of the flowers, herbs, and raw materials used in the manufacture of the incense are Argentinian. Sagrada Madre support local entrepreneurs and indigenous communities and help their suppliers transition to long-term sustainable production systems that are in tune with Mother Earth.
